I believe that having an awesome personal style is not about money, it’s about having an eye. It's about being curious. It’s about observing and being open to different influences. And try, try,try! Go out there and see what really works for you. Trends are great but if they are not making you feel comfortable and confident don't be bummed! Continue trying!

I read somewhere that so much of having an unique personal style is about seeing things and I couldn't agree more. It's about seeing movies and art, and reading — all of those things feed a sensibility. That is what you'll need the most.
